ESP32-WROOM-32 is a general-purpose WiFi+BT+BLE MCU module, featuring low-power Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. It is widely applicable, integrating SPI flash memory and supporting a wide range of wireless communication connections. It supports direct connection to the Internet through a router, while Bluetooth allows users to connect their phones conveniently for signal detection. Application scenarios include Wi-Fi solutions, Wi-Fi mini cameras, MESH networks, smart homes, and mobile IoT.

Comfortable prototyping through easy programming via LUA script or in the Arduino-IDE and Breadboard-compatible construction.
This board has 2.4 GHz dual mode Wi-Fi and Bluetooth chips from TSMC and the 40NM low-power technology.
The module has 38 pins and offers more functions than a 30-pin module. And it is smaller and more convenient to use.

EN: Reset button

BOOT: Download button. Press and hold the BOOT button (do not release the BOOT button at this time) to enter 'Firmware Download' mode and download the firmware through the serial port.

USB: Can be used as a power supply for the circuit board or to connect the PC and the ESP32-WROOM-32 module for communication.

Special features

As with the predecessor model ESP8266, the WLAN functionality is implemented directly in the SoC, but with additional Bluetooth function (incl. BLE).
The ESP32 processor used combines a CPU with 2 Tensilica LX6 cores, clocked at up to 240 MHz, and 512 kiloBytes of SRAM in a single microcontroller chip.
It also integrates a radio unit for WLAN (according to 802.11bgn) and Bluetooth (Classic and LE).
