1.1 Type A

KOLs, KOCs, or content creators with high engagement in the STEM field:

1. Minimum of 1,000 followers on any social media platform: X (Twitter), Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, or YouTube.

2. For other platforms (e.g. Hackster.io or other tech communities), please specify your audience in the application form.

1.2 Type B

Professionals in technology, electronics, or engineering:

1. Engineers, university lecturers, and makers with published works or strong project portfolios are welcome!

2. If you are passionate about sharing knowledge and aspire to grow your professional influence on social media as a tech influencer, we wish to share the platform with you to shine!

2. Collaboration Procedure

2.1 Application

Collaboration Method:

We will review your video project proposal individually and provide support through sponsorship.

Application Process:

Please download the video project proposal template : OpenELAB Ambassador Program Video Project Proposal.
Complete the template and submit it via email to: florence.yang@openelab.io (one or multiple videos per proposal are acceptable).

Your proposal should include:

1. Personal Information:Contact info, social media account names, and follower counts.

2. Video Content:Your video concept, summary of main content, and the OpenELAB products you will use.

3. Project Timeline:Your planned video production and delivery schedule.

For video requirements, please refer to the template or review the details below.

2.2 Review

Proposal Review:

We will notify you of the review results by email in about 7 working days. If approved, detailed collaboration terms and sponsorship arrangements will be confirmed in writing, and a legally binding electronic contract will be sent to confirm the partnership.

Publication Review:

You must submit your completed video by the agreed delivery date for official review via email. If the video does not meet the criteria, revisions may be required to fulfil contractual requirements. Once approved, please publish according to the agreed standards.

2.3 Content Distribution

Collaborative content must be published on the creator’s personal social media account(s) and authorized for use across OpenELAB official social media channels (including other relevant marketing platforms).

All sponsored videos must include links to relevant OpenELAB products (links provided by us).

3. Exclusive Benefits

3.1 Sponsorship & Collaboration

Product Sponsorship:

Upon proposal approval, you will receive sponsored OpenELAB products for review, demonstration, or creative integration in your videos.

Official Support:

Direct communication with the OpenELAB technical marketing team, including early product previews, activity briefings, and creative brainstorming sessions for future content.

3.2 Incentives & Commissions

Performance Bonus:

Outstanding Ambassadors have the opportunity to earn monthly performance bonuses based on content engagement and video analytics.

Sales Commission:

High-performing Ambassadors will receive exclusive gift codes and may earn commissions based on conversion rates (commission rate negotiable).

3.3 Ambassador Privileges

Priority Access:

Test and experience new OpenELAB products before public release.

Annual Exclusive Gift Boxs:

Receive annual OpenELAB gift boxes (custom apparel, commemorative stickers, electronics kits), special edition modules, and exclusive products.

Official Recognition:

Be prominently recommended through OpenELAB’s official channels, including website features, special social media coverage, and a dedicated “Ambassador Highlights” campaign.

4. Collaboration Evaluation

4.1 Long-term Partnership

We aim to establish a stable, long-term Ambassador relationship based on project-based collaboration.

4.2 Evaluation

Collaboration performance will be continually assessed during the partnership. Future projects and the nature of ongoing cooperation will be adjusted according to these evaluations.

5. Video Requirements

5.1 Content

Your video must include at least one of the following themes (other excellent creative ideas may be discussed separately):

1. Topics related to electronic development modules

2. Detailed OpenELAB product unboxing, introduction, review, or product comparison

3. Creative demo project showcase

*We welcome original content, especially your creative, unique, or novel application cases!

5.2 Format

Duration:Minimum 1 minute; recommended length is 3–5 minutes. Longer videos can be discussed separately.

Resolution:At least 1080p, landscape format recommended.

Quality: Clear audio and visuals, well-structured video design, and quality content presentation.

5.3 Publishing

Tags: Include pre-agreed post content and hashtags.

Links:Add sponsored product links in your video description or content (provided by us).

Disclosure:Clearly disclose sponsorship according to your local laws or regulations (e.g. FTC). Use the #sponsored tag or make a statement such as “This video is sponsored by OpenELAB” at the beginning of the video or post.

OpenELAB reserves the final right of interpretation for all terms and benefits. We are committed to ensuring that any adjustments will be made with the goal of supporting the long-term healthy development of the OpenELAB Ambassador program and protecting the overall interests of our Maker Ambassadors.
