The RELAY unit is a relay unit designed to facilitate the control of the on/off state of circuits operating at DC/3A-30V or AC/3A-220V levels. It operates as an automatic switch, wherein a small current governs the operation of a larger current. In the context of electrical circuits, relays serve critical functions including automatic regulation, safety protection, and circuit switching.
The RELAY unit is equipped with three terminals: ON, OFF, and COM. By configuring the General Purpose Input/Output (GPIO) pins of a microcontroller or device to output either high or low voltage levels, one can effectively control the relay. The common terminal, designated as COM, can be connected to either the ON or OFF terminal, thereby regulating the state of the circuit.
