The LILYGO T-ECHO is an advanced version of the LILYGO T-BEAM, designed with improved compatibility for Meshtastic. In its development, much consideration was given to optimizing Bluetooth functionality and low power consumption. The NRF52840 Advanced Bluetooth 5 SoC was selected for its robust performance, supporting both Thread and Zigbee multi-protocol communication, making it ideal for a variety of wireless applications.

The LILYGO T-ECHO continues the LORA functionality of the T-BEAM, incorporating the LILYGO SX1262 wireless transceiver module. The SX1262 uses the Semtech SX1262 LORA RF transceiver chip, operating in the 868/915 MHz ISM frequency band. It features a high-stability TCXO 32 MHz crystal oscillator, providing superior performance in both transmission and reception. With a maximum output power of +22dBm and a receiving sensitivity of -139dBm, the LILYGO T-ECHO ensures long-range communication, even in challenging environments. Its automatic transceiver switching and advanced LORA spread spectrum communication technology enhance anti-interference, ensuring reliable and secure long-distance wireless data transmission.

In addition, the LILYGO T-ECHO BME280 integrates the BME280 sensor, providing precise environmental measurements, including temperature, humidity, and pressure. This makes the device perfect for IoT applications that require real-time environmental data alongside robust wireless communication capabilities. The BME280 sensor enhances the overall functionality of the LILYGO T-ECHO, offering a complete solution for environmental monitoring and remote sensing.

Features of the LILYGO T-ECHO BME280

The LILYGO T-ECHO BME280 integrates the advanced L76K multi-satellite positioning system, which supports a variety of global navigation satellite systems (GNSS) such as GPS, BeiDou, GLONASS, and QZSS. This allows for multi-system joint positioning and single system independent positioning, ensuring accurate location data in a variety of environments. Additionally, the LILYGO T-ECHO BME280 features AGNSS (Assisted GNSS), which reduces the time needed for the first positioning fix, providing a fast and reliable user experience.

Compared to traditional single-system GPS, the multi-satellite system in the LILYGO T-ECHO BME280 significantly increases the number of visible satellites, boosting positioning accuracy and stability even in complex urban environments where GPS signals are often weak. The integration of a built-in low-noise amplifier (LNA) and surface filter ensures high sensitivity, enabling quick signal capture and precise tracking, even under challenging conditions.

The LILYGO T-ECHO BME280 also enhances anti-interference capabilities with its surface acoustic filter, improving performance in environments with electromagnetic noise. Additionally, the module is equipped with an active antenna detection circuit and a protection circuit, safeguarding both the module and antenna from potential damage.

For improved user interaction, the LILYGO T-ECHO BME280 features a 1.54-inch electronic paper display (E-paper) with a 200x200 resolution LED front light. This ensures clear visibility in low-light or dark environments, making it ideal for both indoor and outdoor use.

2. Warranty Policy

Warranty Period

The standard warranty period for products sold by OpenELAB is 12 months from the date of delivery.

Under this warranty, OpenELAB will make a reasonable effort to repair or replace products free of charge if defects are due to issues with raw materials, design, or manufacturing.

If the defect qualifies under this policy but falls outside the covered scope, reasonable charges may apply for repair or replacement.

After the warranty period, support may still be available at a reasonable fee.

  

Warranty Exclusions

The warranty does not apply in the following cases:

  • The product is beyond the 12-month warranty period.
  • Damage due to misuse, improper maintenance or storage, or failure to follow the user guide or manual.
  • Issues caused by Force Majeure events (e.g., natural disasters, war, legal changes, etc.).
  • Unauthorized repair attempts by the customer.
  • The product is not defective but has been opened and is non-returnable by policy.

   

3. Returns & Refunds

  • Return for Refund: Within 15 days of receipt (unopened).
  • Return for Replacement: Within 30 days of receipt (damaged or defective).
  • Exchange Window: Up to 30 days from receipt.
