The fog sensor is capable of outputting both digital and analog signals and can be used in combination with a microcontroller to create simple rain detectors and liquid switches. As the humidity on the sensor surface increases, the output voltage rises. In addition to detecting rain, it can also detect fog or be used as a touch switch. Note that the sensitivity to fog detection can be controlled by adjusting the potentiometer on the back of the sensor with a screwdriver. The connector part is not waterproof, so do not immerse it directly in water.
