TOF (Time-of-Flight) Ranging Technology
Adopting TOF (Time of Flight) ranging technology, this sensor measures distance based on the time-of-flight of laser pulses. It achieves a maximum ranging distance of 25m, meeting the demands of most commercial applications, and offers a measurement accuracy of ±20 mm within an effective detection distance of 8m. Its efficient algorithm logic enables 360° detection for robots, autonomous mapping, and obstacle detection.
Supports Start-stop Control via Software
With open-source demo, schematic diagrams, and other resources for the adapter board, the STL27L allows for personalized development and Lidar operation control, effectively prolonging its lifetime. 
More Stable Performance, Long Lasting Lifetime
The STL27L incorporates a coaxial brushless motor, ensuring quiet operation without friction and supporting high-speed wireless data transmission with stable performance. It boasts a lifetime of 10000+ hours, meeting the requirement for low failure rates in projects. 
360° Omni-Directional Laser Scanning
The ranging core rotates clockwise to perform 360-degree scanning and ranging of the surrounding environment, thereby acquiring a contour map and point cloud information of obstacle locations. 
Ranging Radius up to 25m
With a longer ranging distance, the STL27L can obtain environmental information from a farther range, ensuring enhanced cruising and mapping capabilities for robots in large areas. 
* The ranging distance data is obtained by repeated measurements of STL27L and a target surface with 80.6% reflectivity under laboratory conditions.
High Real-time & Accurate Map Building
Supports scanning at 10Hz and measuring distance at a rate of 21600Hz, effectively reducing navigation blind spots and improving scanning coverage. 
Multi-echo Detection Technology, Supports Glass Wall Detection
Through multi-echo detection technology, the STL27L supports glass wall detection at specific angles, reducing collisions during robot operation and increasing safety. 
Strong Ambient Light Tolerance
Utilizing excellent filtering technology, this sensor operates reliably in up to 60Klux strong light, making it suitable for a variety of indoor and outdoor scenarios. 
Exquisite, Compact, Easier to integrate
Its compact structural design results in a smaller size and lower power consumption, allowing for easy embedding within robots to reduce overall size and improve maneuverability. 
Laser Safety FDA Class 1
For human and pet safety, a low-power infrared laser emitter is used as the light source and driven by modulated pulses. The laser completes its emission in a very short period, complying with the FDA Class 1 human eye safety rating.

Important Notice:
- Please verify the inventory location on the product page before placing your order to confirm delivery timeframes.

After we receive the shipment in Munich/ Long Beach, we will send the items to you. Unless explicitly stated in a specific agreement or purchase order, OpenELAB makes no warranties—express or implied—regarding the fitness, suitability, or merchantability of any product for a particular purpose or special use.
2. Warranty Policy
Warranty Period
The standard warranty period for products sold by OpenELAB is 12 months from the date of delivery.
Under this warranty, OpenELAB will make a reasonable effort to repair or replace products free of charge if defects are due to issues with raw materials, design, or manufacturing.
If the defect qualifies under this policy but falls outside the covered scope, reasonable charges may apply for repair or replacement.
After the warranty period, support may still be available at a reasonable fee.
Warranty Exclusions
The warranty does not apply in the following cases:
- The product is beyond the 12-month warranty period.
- Damage due to misuse, improper maintenance or storage, or failure to follow the user guide or manual.
- Issues caused by Force Majeure events (e.g., natural disasters, war, legal changes, etc.).
- Unauthorized repair attempts by the customer.
- The product is not defective but has been opened and is non-returnable by policy.
3. Returns & Refunds
If you're not satisfied with your purchase, you may be eligible for a return or exchange:
- Return for Refund: Within 15 days of receipt (unopened).
- Return for Replacement: Within 30 days of receipt (damaged or defective).
- Exchange Window: Up to 30 days from receipt.

Return Conditions
- Items must be in original, clean, and mint condition with packaging intact.
- Returns of damaged, used, scratched, modified, or programmed items will not be accepted.
- Include the receipt, a brief note with your name, order number, and reason for return.
Shipping & Fees
- Customers are responsible for return shipping to our warehouses in Europe, the US, or China.
- If a return is requested due to customer reasons (e.g., change of mind, incorrect order, etc.), both the original shipping cost and the return shipping cost will be deducted from the refund amount.
- For returns due to customer reasons, we will generate and provide a return shipping label.
Payment Platform Fees
For all refunds requested due to customer reasons, a standard service fee will be deducted from the refund amount, which is charged by the payment platforms. The specific fees are as follows:
