Water Level Liquid Detection Sensor

The water level sensor is designed specifically for water depth detection and can be widely used for sensing rainfall, water levels, and even liquid leaks. When the water level sensor is placed in water, the more the water covers the copper wires, the higher the analog value it produces. By reading the analog value of the water depth sensor module and printing it on the serial monitor, we can determine the water depth. To know the water depth, we first immerse the sensor just a little bit into the water to get the initial analog value. Once we know this value, we can use the following formula to calculate the water depth:

$\text{Water Depth} = \frac{\text{CA} - \text{DA}}{100}$

where:

• CA is the current analog value,
• DA is the analog value when the sensor was first immersed in water.
