SW-520D Angle Sensor Ball Tilt

The tilt switch module, also known as a ball switch, steel ball switch, or bead switch, is a type of vibration switch that operates based on the rolling of a bead to make or break contact with the conducting pins. When the tilt sensor detects an inclination, the contacts will be connected, and the module will output a low-level signal. Tilting the switch in the opposite direction will cause the metal ball to move away from the contacts, thus breaking the circuit and outputting a high-level signal.

1. SW-520 and SW-520D are single-directional ball-type tilt and vibration sensing switches.

2. Working Conditions:

   • When the device is tilted towards the cap end, and the tilt angle exceeds 10 degrees, the switch will be in an open (OFF) state.
   • When the device is in a horizontal position and experiences a tilt (with leads parallel to the plane and at the same height), and the tilt angle at the trigger end (gold-plated pin ends A and B) exceeds 10 degrees, the switch will be in a closed (ON) state.
