We'd love to help you create a demo or prototype that requires a longer battery life! We totally get it. Maybe using the battery in M5GO and Basic isn't enough for you.

We've got just the thing for you! It's the BATTERY, a handy M5 module that'll give your lithium polymer battery a boost. The great thing about lithium polymer batteries is that you can stack them up to get the most out of them!

The safety of lithium polymer batteries can be affected by lots of different things. We just want to give you a heads-up that overcharging, over-discharging, over-temperature, short-circuiting, crushing, and nail penetration could all result in a catastrophic failure. This could include the pouch rupturing, the electrolyte leaking, and even fire.

We want you to have the best experience with our products, so we've made sure that every battery we offer comes with a protection circuit board. However, we still want to remind you to be extra careful when using lithium polymer batteries in your products.

Once you've stacked the battery underneath the M5 controller, the battery positive pole is connected to the VBAT pin at IP5306.
