Today, we are introducing a fascinating programmable smart car that allows children to easily learn programming while gaining practical knowledge in electronics, mechanics, control logic, and computer science. This robot is based on the open-source ARDUINO platform, with very simple assembly and wiring. All components are connected with screws and copper columns, and it only takes a few simple steps to complete the assembly. It offers 15 programming course projects, ranging from simple to complex, guiding users step by step in learning how to "teach" the robot to understand commands.
It can connect to an external DC power source of 7-12V.
Full System Compatibility: The Arduino IDE runs on the three major operating systems – Windows, Mac, and Linux.
Easy Assembly Without Soldering: The wiring uses a solder-free design with anti-reverse connectors. Assembly can be completed easily using the provided screwdriver and instructions, allowing hands-on fun without the worry of damaging components.
Powerful Companion App: A professional-grade mobile app is included, compatible with both Android and iOS, providing an intuitive control interface to operate the smart car.
Core Development Board: This development board is an easy-to-use open-source controller, similar in hardware to Arduino UNO, but with a color change from blue to red for a unique look. It features an upgraded ATmega16U2 chip (replacing the 8U2) for USB interface services, allowing it to emulate USB HID devices such as MIDI, Joystick, and Keyboard.
Motor Driver Expansion Board: Capable of driving DC motors, two-phase, and four-phase stepper motors with up to 2A motor current. The motor output uses 8 high-speed Schottky diodes for protection and includes a power switch, providing convenient usage.
Infrared Remote Control: The car can be controlled by a remote, making it simple and convenient to operate.
Line Following Function: The car can follow black lines, enabling fun experiments like navigating mazes or racing tracks.
Obstacle Avoidance Function: Ultrasonic sensors detect obstacles in front of the car to avoid collisions and can also measure the distance to the obstacle.
Object Following Function: The car can connect to a mobile app via Bluetooth to follow objects in front of it.
Music Playback: Connect the car to the mobile app via Bluetooth to play music or even emulate a piano.
Gravity Sensing: Using the mobile app’s Bluetooth connection, tilt the phone to control the car based on gravity sensing.
Bluetooth Control: The mobile app allows fast and convenient control of the car via Bluetooth, offering complete functionality.
