The Orbbec Gemini 2L is based on active stereo IR technology with a 100mm baseline and is equipped with Orbbec's latest custom ASIC for high-quality depth processing. It boasts a diagonal depth Field of View (FoV) of up to 101° and utilises a single-cable USB 3.0 for both power and connectivity.

The camera also has a proximity sensor for close-distance single-point ranging, eliminating depth-measurement blind spots within the 0-10m range. An internal IMU enables motion and position tracking. The Gemini 2L is straightforward to set up and operate with the Orbbec SDK, delivering reliable data in a variety of lighting conditions, from completely dark to semi-outdoor.

Broad Scene coverage and Measurement Range

Powered by a custom ASIC, it offers a depth Field of View (FoV) of up to 101° and a Depth - to - Color (D2C) Field of View (FoV) exceeding 90 degrees.

Depth Measurement Accuracy

With a 100mm baseline—the distance between the two stereo cameras—Gemini 2L boasts a Root Mean Squared Error (RMSE) of less than 2% for depth measurements at 4m, delivering reliable performance in measurement and 3D reconstruction.

Consistent Depth Measurement

The camera has a close - distance single - point ranging function, allowing for consistent depth data collection within a 0 - 10m range without blind spots.

Accurate Frame Synchronization

It enables precise synchronization of depth and color frames and supports multiple - device synchronization, which is valuable for applications needing multi - angle coverage or wide - area capture.

Reliable performance in Dynamic Environments

It incorporates a 6 - axis Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) for real - time motion and orientation tracking. Along with a global shutter for uniform exposure across all pixels, it minimizes motion blur and distortion in dynamic scenes.

Scene-Based Working Modes

The Gemini 2L has preset scene-based working modes, enabling it to adapt to different specific application scenarios. The integrated Dimensioning mode is especially useful for measurement and reconstruction applications, offering practical support for product development.

2. Warranty Policy

Warranty Period

The standard warranty period for products sold by OpenELAB is 12 months from the date of delivery.

Under this warranty, OpenELAB will make a reasonable effort to repair or replace products free of charge if defects are due to issues with raw materials, design, or manufacturing.

If the defect qualifies under this policy but falls outside the covered scope, reasonable charges may apply for repair or replacement.

After the warranty period, support may still be available at a reasonable fee.

  

Warranty Exclusions

The warranty does not apply in the following cases:

  • The product is beyond the 12-month warranty period.
  • Damage due to misuse, improper maintenance or storage, or failure to follow the user guide or manual.
  • Issues caused by Force Majeure events (e.g., natural disasters, war, legal changes, etc.).
  • Unauthorized repair attempts by the customer.
  • The product is not defective but has been opened and is non-returnable by policy.

   

3. Returns & Refunds

If you're not satisfied with your purchase, you may be eligible for a return or exchange:

  • Return for Refund: Within 15 days of receipt (unopened).
  • Return for Replacement: Within 30 days of receipt (damaged or defective).
  • Exchange Window: Up to 30 days from receipt.
