ATOM Socket is a smart power socket designed to be used with the ATOM main control board. It is equipped with a built-in HLW8032 high-precision energy metering IC, which enables it to accurately measure various electrical parameters such as line voltage, current, active power, apparent power, and power factor. These parameters can be accessed through serial communication.

The socket is designed with an external jack that follows Japanese standard specifications, ensuring compatibility with commonly used plug types. Inside the socket, there is an integrated single-circuit relay capable of handling AC power in the range of 100-120V at a maximum current of 10A. This relay is responsible for controlling the power supply to the socket, allowing for easy and convenient power on and off control.

When the ATOM main control board is integrated with a WiFi module, the ATOM Socket can be easily connected to a network for remote control and energy metering. This means that users can remotely control the power status of the socket and also monitor energy consumption from anywhere with an internet connection.

Additionally, the ATOM Socket features an extra socket that integrates an HY2.0-4P interface. This interface allows for interaction with external equipment, such as relay signal input and key signal output. This provides flexibility and opens up possibilities for integrating the socket with other devices or systems, enhancing its functionality beyond basic power control.
