The Force Sensing Resistor is a lightweight, small-sized, high-precision, ultra-thin resistive force sensor. This resistive force sensor converts the force applied to the thin-film area of the FSR sensor into a voltage value and thus obtains the force value. The voltage is relatively low, and it is allowed to be used in scenarios where the pressure is 0g - 10kg. It can be used for the end-of-arm sensing of mechanical grippers to detect whether there are gripped objects, the ground sensing under the feet of bionic robots, and the bite-force testing of mammals. Therefore, the application range is very wide. However, because force detection is not very precise, it is not recommended to use it for precise force measurement.
