The tilt switch module, also known as a ball switch or steel ball switch, is essentially a type of vibration switch. It operates on the principle of a rolling ball making or breaking contact with conducting pins, thereby controlling the circuit's connection or disconnection. The working principle is simple: similar to turning a light on or off, if the switch makes contact with the internal metal plate, the light will turn on. When the switch moves away, the light turns off. The conductive effect is produced by the ball making contact with the metal terminals or by changing the path of light within the switch using a small bead.
When the tilt sensor detects an inclination, the module outputs a low-level signal; otherwise, it outputs a high-level signal.
