Uni-trend High-precision Non-contact Voltage Tester for Electrical Use UT12D
The UNI T UT12D is an upgraded non contact intelligent voltage tester designed for safer and more efficient electrical detection in both industrial and household environments. Compared with traditional single function testers, the UT12D offers smart live and neutral wire identification, higher safety rating and user friendly visual and audible alerts.
With an AC voltage sensing range of 24V to 1000V, automatic sensitivity switching and a focused flashlight built into the probe tip, the UT12D helps users accurately locate live circuits even in poorly lit or cramped spaces. Its CAT IV 1000V safety rating, drop protection and international certifications make it a reliable tool for electricians, maintenance personnel and home users.

Safe and Reliable Non Contact Voltage Testing
The UT12D uses non contact voltage detection technology to sense AC voltage without directly touching bare conductors. This reduces the risk of electric shock and allows quick checks of outlets, switches, cables and distribution boxes. The intelligent circuit design automatically switches sensitivity between low and high modes to cover a wide range from 24V to 1000V AC.
Smart Live and Neutral Wire Identification
The tester can intelligently distinguish live and neutral wires, helping users quickly identify wiring errors and potential hazards. Combined with dual color light indication and sound alarm, this feature makes troubleshooting faster and more intuitive, especially in complex distribution systems.
Visual and Audible Alarms
In NCV mode the UT12D provides synchronized sound and light alarms. Red and green dual color indicator lights clearly show detection status, while a buzzer provides an audible warning when voltage is present. A yellow indication alerts users to low battery status so the tester can be maintained in optimal working condition.
Built In Flashlight for Dark Environments
A focused flashlight is integrated in the tip of the tester, allowing users to work safely and precisely in dark panels, corners or poorly lit construction sites. This design makes the UT12D especially practical for night work, maintenance in tight spaces and emergency troubleshooting.
Durable Design and Safety Certifications
The UT12D is rated to CAT IV 1000V, offering a high level of protection suitable for use at the service entrance and upstream installations. It also provides one meter drop protection to withstand everyday handling. International safety certifications including cETLus and CE further demonstrate its reliability and compliance with industry standards.
