DFRobot C1001 mmWave Human Detection Sensor is a high-precision 60GHz radar module designed for advanced human monitoring. Unlike traditional 24GHz sensors limited to basic presence detection, the C1001 supports fall detection, sleep monitoring, motion tracking, and even vital sign detection like breath rate and heart rate — all with high accuracy, even when the subject is completely still.
Compatible with Arduino, ESP32, micro:bit, and other development platforms, the sensor utilizes a point cloud imaging algorithm to recognize human postures and detect whether someone is lying down. It delivers reliable performance in safety-critical applications such as elderly care, sleep tracking, and health monitoring.
Features
Integrated Fall Detection Function
The C1001 sensor employs a point cloud imaging technique that effectively identifies human postures, including the ability to determine when an individual is lying down. It reliably reports incidents of falling, the length of time a person remains immobile, and intervals of inactivity. Capable of detecting motion across a broad area (up to 11 meters) when installed on a ceiling 2.7 meters high, the C1001 provides accurate fall detection. This feature significantly enhances safety monitoring, especially in elderly care, by issuing prompt alerts for fall events. Unlike many other sensors that struggle to detect stationary bodies, the C1001 is adept at recognizing both movement and stillness, thus proving to be highly dependable.
Comprehensive Sleep Monitoring
In sleep monitoring mode, the C1001 observes human presence and movement, evaluating changes in body movements and breathing patterns throughout the night. It effectively measures breathing frequency and heart rate from a distance of 1.5 meters, providing essential insights into sleep quality and general health. By combining these metrics, the sensor produces a comprehensive sleep score, helping users gain a clearer understanding of their sleep habits and well-being.

Unless explicitly stated in a specific agreement or purchase order, OpenELAB makes no warranties—express or implied—regarding the fitness, suitability, or merchantability of any product for a particular purpose or special use.
2. Warranty Policy
Warranty Period
The standard warranty period for products sold by OpenELAB is 12 months from the date of delivery.
Under this warranty, OpenELAB will make a reasonable effort to repair or replace products free of charge if defects are due to issues with raw materials, design, or manufacturing.
If the defect qualifies under this policy but falls outside the covered scope, reasonable charges may apply for repair or replacement.
After the warranty period, support may still be available at a reasonable fee.
Warranty Exclusions
The warranty does not apply in the following cases:
- The product is beyond the 12-month warranty period.
- Damage due to misuse, improper maintenance or storage, or failure to follow the user guide or manual.
- Issues caused by Force Majeure events (e.g., natural disasters, war, legal changes, etc.).
- Unauthorized repair attempts by the customer.
- The product is not defective but has been opened and is non-returnable by policy.
3. Returns & Refunds
If you're not satisfied with your purchase, you may be eligible for a return or exchange:
- Return for Refund: Within 15 days of receipt (unopened).
- Return for Replacement: Within 30 days of receipt (damaged or defective).
- Exchange Window: Up to 30 days from receipt.

- Customers are responsible for return shipping to our warehouses in Europe, the US, or China.
- If a return is requested due to customer reasons (e.g., change of mind, incorrect order, etc.), both the original shipping cost and the return shipping cost will be deducted from the refund amount.
- For returns due to customer reasons, we will generate and provide a return shipping label.
Payment Platform Fees
For all refunds requested due to customer reasons, a standard service fee will be deducted from the refund amount, which is charged by the payment platforms. The specific fees are as follows:
