From March 11 to 13, 2025, OpenELAB was proud to be part of embedded world 2025 in Nuremberg, Germany, one of the most significant global events in the embedded systems industry. Located in Hall 5, Booth 164, we stood among some of the most innovative companies in electronic solutions, software development, and embedded services, exchanging ideas and showcasing our latest technologies to a diverse audience of engineers, developers, and industry leaders.
A Global Stage for Embedded Expertise
With thousands of visitors from around the world, embedded world 2025 was a melting pot of innovation. Engineers from various industries—including manufacturing, automotive, healthcare, telecommunications, and industrial automation—converged to explore cutting-edge embedded technologies. Whether working on smart factories, autonomous vehicles, or next-generation medical devices, they came with one goal: to push the boundaries of what embedded systems can achieve.
For OpenELAB, this was the perfect platform to connect with like-minded engineers, IoT hobbyists, and industry professionals, demonstrating how our solutions help accelerate the journey from prototype to mass production.

At OpenELAB’s booth, we delivered an engineer-friendly, hands-on experience. We believe that the best way to understand technology is to interact with it—so we brought some of our most exciting projects to life.
🦎 Smart Pet Box with M5Stack Plus 2
A hit among IoT enthusiasts, the Smart Pet Box with M5StickC Plus2 uses various sensors and an automation control system to monitor and control the pet's living environment. The controller features real-time environment monitoring, automatic temperature and humidity control, overheat protection, remote control and data viewing as well as camera monitoring to ensure that a comfortable environment for your pet.
📸 AI Polaroid with Raspberry Pi
Why settle for traditional photos when you can have AI-enhanced ones? This demo featured a Raspberry Pi-powered polaroid camera capable of generating nine different AI-stylized photo effects, thanks to VanceAI’s image processing. Once a visitor selected a style, the image was printed instantly using a Xiaomi Printer—turning our booth into a mini AI-powered photo studio.
🏭 Smart Energy System with Arduino
As an intelligent battery and load management system using solar panels, batteries, and Arduino, this smart energy system converts solar energy into electrical power, charges batteries, and provides power to Arduino and peripherals. The system also includes real-time monitoring of battery and load parameters such as voltage, current, and power using the INA226 module.
🏎️ Lego Porsche with M5-Programmed Engine & Display
Our crowd's favorite was the Lego Porsche demo, featuring an engine controlled by M5AtomS3 Joystick module and digital dashboard display. It illustrated how embedded systems could enhance automation, robotics, and real-world control applications.
