The NodeMCU Amica V2 is a quintessential ESP developer board. Designed to be breadboard-friendly and featuring the robust ESP8266-12F processor from Espressif with integrated WLAN, this controller provides an accessible entry point into IoT development.

  • Firmware Flexibility: Multiple firmware versions from the manufacturer can be easily flashed via the micro-USB port.

  • Enhanced Transfer Rates: The CP2102 chip set, an upgrade from the previous model, enables higher transfer rates.

  • Superior Performance: With ample memory and the powerful ESP processor, this board excels where other micro-controllers reach their limits.

Particularities

  • Core Processor: The ESP8266-12F integrates the Tensilica L106 32-bit micro-controller, which operates at clock speeds of 80 MHz or 160 MHz.

  • Memory: It includes 32 KiB of instruction RAM, 32 KiB of instruction cache RAM, 80 KiB of user-data RAM, and 16 KiB of ETS system-data RAM.

  • Wi-Fi Capabilities: The processor supports IEEE 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi standards and includes an integrated TR switch, balun, LNA, power amplifier, and matching network.

  • GPIO Pins: It features 17 GPIO pins, which can be used for various input/output operations.

  • Interfaces: The ESP8266-12F supports multiple interfaces, including SPI, I²C (software implementation), I²S with DMA, and UART.

  • Power: It operates at 3.3 V DC.

  • Additional Features: The processor supports WEP, WPA/WPA2 authentication, or open networks, and includes a 10-bit ADC.
