An omnipolar Hall magnetic sensor is a magnetic field sensor based on the Hall effect. The Hall effect is a type of magnetoelectric effect. When a magnet approaches the sensor's active area, the switch outputs a low-level signal; when the magnet moves away, the switch outputs a high-level signal.
