The SG90 servo is a bespoke 9g servo motor, designed and manufactured by M5Stack. This product is fully compatible with the "8Servos" HAT and "PuppyC" base. This micro servo is designed for ease of use by beginners. There is no requirement to utilise a dedicated servo-drive board with feedback control and a complex gearbox. This servo can be readily controlled by any common PWM driver or microcontroller. In comparison to driving a stepper motor, a servo is a much more straightforward solution. This product is ideal for use in small projects that require angular movement and/or control. The recommended pulse width is 1-2ms, with the servo working at 50Hz. It is important to note that exceeding the specified pulse width range may result in damage to the servo. Should the cable length be insufficient, an extension cable can be purchased to provide the necessary length. The yellow wire is for the control signal, brown is for the ground, and the red wire is for the Vcc (voltage). It is essential to monitor the supply current and voltage to prevent damage to the servo.
