This kit is the official TRMNL BYOD solution, designed to let you build the TRMNL 7.5" OG device from scratch. With BYOD access, you can use over 375+ plugins and choose from 8 layouts to create dashboards for daily or commercial use—without coding. Examples include Calendar, Shopify, and GitHub integrations.

This kit features a 7.5" monochrome e-Ink display (800×480 resolution), capable of showing sensor data, weather, and calendars at a glance. The glare-free design ensures readability in any light while reducing eye strain.
🔋 Energy-Efficient Design
Powered by a 3.7V 2000mAh rechargeable Li-ion battery, it can run up to 3 months in deep sleep mode (6-hour refresh).
🏠 Home Assistant & Arduino IDE Compatibility
Includes a XIAO ESP32-S3 Plus based ePaper Dev Board, fully compatible with ESPHome for Home Assistant integration. As an open-source kit, it also supports Arduino IDE, enabling developers to build custom dashboards with Arduino C.
📦 Open-Source Enclosures
The kit does not include enclosures, but we provide three open-source designs on Printables, Thingiverse , and Maker World. These designs combine aesthetics and functionality to enhance your project.
