The Seeed Studio 24GHz mmWave Sensor for XIAO is a compact and highly sensitive human presence detection module based on FMCW (Frequency Modulated Continuous Wave) radar technology. It is optimized for detecting both motionless and moving human bodies, making it an ideal choice for applications that require static detection, such as sleep monitoring, smart lighting, and presence-aware automation systems.
This radar sensor is designed to be embedded discreetly within enclosures thanks to its excellent shell penetration, and supports multi-level intelligent parameter adjustment via Bluetooth or serial commands. With a wide ±60° detection angle and adjustable sensing distance of up to 6 meters, it adapts well to various environmental and spatial conditions.
