This is the kit version of the 085 Digital Function Signal Generator, designed for electronics enthusiasts and students who enjoy hands-on assembly and learning. It is ideal for low-frequency applications, offering a low-cost, high-performance, easy-to-use digital function signal generator. The kit provides not only standard signals like sine, square, sawtooth (positive/negative), triangle, and staircase waves but also servo test/control signals and user-defined custom signals.

All surface-mount components are pre-soldered, so the user only needs to install the through-hole components. The PCB has been fully tested before packaging to ensure proper functionality, and the program is pre-loaded onto the chip.

Key Features

  • Digital Parameter Setting: Frequency, amplitude, and offset can be adjusted digitally, simplifying the operation without the need for manual fine-tuning.
  • Stepwise Fine-Tuning: The step size can be customized, making it ideal for precise adjustments within a specific range.
  • Sweep Function: The sweep start and end frequencies, as well as the sweep duration and speed, can be set digitally. The start and stop of the sweep are controlled by trigger signals, and the output waveform is the selected waveform.
  • Trigger Function: External signals can control both the output of the generator and the start/stop of frequency sweeps.
  • Custom Waveforms: Users can define custom waveforms on a PC, download them to the generator, and adjust them like standard waveforms (including frequency, amplitude, and offset) or use them for sweep output.
  • Servo Signal Mode: In this mode, the user can set the servo position and make it oscillate within a defined range.

Operation Examples

  • Set the output frequency to 5KHz:

  • Set the output amplitude to 3V peak-to-peak:

  • Set the DC offset to -2.5V:
    [OFS] → [+/-] → [2] → [.] → [5] → [V]
