The VL6180X Time of Flight (ToF) Sensor combines proximity detection and ambient light measurement into one compact module. Using ST’s patented FlightSense™ technology, it can measure distances from 5 to 100mm, and in ideal conditions, up to 200mm. This sensor uses a 940nm VCSEL laser emitter for precise, interference-resistant readings, making it ideal for robotics, smart lighting, and gesture sensing.
