A Single‑Channel Brainwave Acquisition Module for Consumer Electronics
The Taurus EEG Sensor Module is a compact, single‑channel brainwave acquisition module designed for consumer electronic devices. It integrates an analog front‑end, digital signal processing, and onboard filtering to deliver clean and reliable EEG data. The module outputs brainwave spectrum, raw EEG signals, and two cognitive metrics: Attention and Relaxation.
With built‑in hardware and software filtering, including a 50 Hz notch filter, the module effectively suppresses environmental noise and improves signal quality. It supports both dry and wet electrodes, making it easy to wear and integrate into various applications.
Communication is based on a standard UART interface.
-
At 9600 bps, the module outputs α, β and other EEG band data, along with Attention and Relaxation metrics.
-
At 115200 bps, it outputs raw EEG waveform data.
