How It Works
Infrared thermometers detect temperature by measuring the amount of infrared radiation emitted by an object. The Grove MLX90614 module captures this radiation using a highly sensitive IR sensor and converts it into a temperature reading. Because no physical contact is needed, it is particularly useful in applications requiring hygienic or distant measurement.
