This industrial-grade RS485 expansion shield from DFRobot is designed to add two parallel RS485 terminal ports to LattePanda Alpha , LattePanda Delta, and LattePanda 3 Delta boards with high reliability.
Equipped with an FTDI USB-to-serial chip and an industrial-grade isolated transceiver module, it provides signal and power isolation, lightning/surge protection, transient impulse voltage resistance, and bus protection. This ensures stable and secure data transmission in industrial environments while protecting your LattePanda mainboard.

The shield features a stackable design, allowing for secure mounting using copper pillars without obstructing the mainboard’s heat dissipation area.
