The AtomS3R Ext is a prototype development expansion programmable controller based on the ESP32-S3 main controller. It has been designed specifically for prototype validation and expansion development. The device features a prototype breadboard on the top surface, which allows users to connect and debug multiple input/output ports, thereby making it suitable for various peripheral module expansions and function validation. The device incorporates the ESP32-S3-PICO-1-N8R8 main controller, facilitates WiFi functionality, and comprises 8MB of onboard flash memory and 8MB of PSRAM, in addition to a power circuit that converts 5V to 3.3V/2.8V/1.2V. Additionally, the device is equipped with a three-axis BMM150 geomagnetic sensor and a six-axis BMI270 motion sensor. The controller is equipped with a Type-C interface for power supply and firmware downloads, as well as an HY2.0-4P expansion port, six GPIO, and power pins, which facilitate the expansion of functionality. In comparison to preceding ATOM series host products, the AtomS3R Ext boasts an advanced 3D antenna, which offers enhanced signal performance and stability. With dimensions of only 24x24x12mm, the device is particularly well-suited to prototype development and validation applications in embedded smart devices.
