Highly scalable from a single 64-LED panel to a small LED wall, the bright red modules are suitable for displays with long-distance effects.
The LED matrix with 256 LEDs consumes a maximum of only 160 mA, so that it can be conveniently operated without an additional energy source, e.g. via a microcontroller. The MAX7219 LED drivers are controlled via SPI data protocol using only 5 cables - even if you connect several modules together.
Different effects can be achieved with different controllers: Spectrum music mode, rolling subtitle, image display, video display, fireworks effect and chase effect.
Particularities
Since the LEDs of the display are individually addressable, you can set the LEDs to scroll messages or show images on the display.
Compared to other matrix displays, this display module is very cost-efficient and allows you to reduce the usage cost.
The linkable and compatible design of the display allows expansion of the matrix panel.
