The ESP8684-MINI-1 and ESP8684-MINI-1U are general-purpose Wi-Fi and Bluetooth Low Energy (Bluetooth LE) modules, featuring a compact size and a variety of peripheral interfaces. They are suitable for applications in smart home, industrial automation, healthcare, consumer electronics, and more. The ESP8684-MINI-1 uses a PCB onboard antenna, while the ESP8684-MINI-1U is designed with a connector for an external antenna. Both modules come in two variants, equipped with either the ESP8684H2 or ESP8684H4 chip.
The ESP8684H2 and ESP8684H4 chips belong to the ESP8684 series, featuring a RISC-V 32-bit single-core processor. The ESP8684 series chips integrate a variety of peripherals, including UART, I2C, LED PWM controller, general DMA controller, temperature sensor, SAR analog-to-digital converter, and support for single-wire, dual-wire, and quad-wire SPI interfaces.
