This module can be used in the step-down field where the input voltage is higher than the output voltage, such as batteries, power transformers, DIY adjustable regulated power supplies, 24V vehicle notebook power supplies, industrial equipment step-down, 12V to 3.3V, 12V to 5V, 24V to 5V, 24V to 12V, 36V to 24V, etc.

Features:

  • With voltmeter display, voltmeter error ± 0.1V, range 4 ~ 40V. (Note: if the input voltage is lower than 4V, the onboard voltmeter does not work and does not display)
  • Large volume 5*5 touch the button to switch the measurement input or output voltage, and there is an indicator light to show which terminal voltage is being measured. The default digital tube displays the input voltage at the first boot, and the input indicator IN is on; touch the button, the digital tube displays the output voltage, and the output indicator OUT is on. And keep the last setting, even after power off and on again
  • The voltmeter can be turned off, long pressing the switch for more than 1 second and less than 4 seconds, and releasing it to turn off. After the voltmeter is turned off, just short press the switch to turn on the voltmeter.
  • Input and output voltage measurement error calibration function, long press the switch for more than 4 seconds, and then enter the voltage measurement error calibration function after letting go. At this time, the IN light is on (calibration input terminal), and the digital tube flashes to display the correct value (the factory parameter is 0.0) , at this time, short press the button to change the value (the value range is -0.5~0.5, the unit is V), a positive number means upward calibration, and a negative number means downward calibration. After adjusting the calibration value of the input end, press and hold the button for more than 2 seconds, and then let go of the error calibration of the output end. At this time, the OUT light is on (calibrating the output end), and the calibration value of the output end is displayed. The adjustment method is the same as that of the input end. After the calibration value of the output terminal, press and hold the button for more than 2 seconds. After letting go, the set value will be saved and the voltage will return to normal display voltage. The set calibration value will take effect immediately and will not be lost after power failure. (With this function, you can meet your higher precision requirements)
  • With terminals, it is easy to use without a soldering iron, and the soldering wire connection points are reserved(The input voltage is more than 1v higher than the output voltage)
  • Using the internal oscillation frequency of 150KHz, it belongs to the second-generation switching voltage regulator, with low power consumption and high efficiency
  • The input end is protected by two tubes, and the reverse connection will not burn the module
  • With overheat protection and short circuit protection (please strengthen heat dissipation if more than 15W)

Precautions:

It is a large output current up to 3A, the recommended working current is about 2A, more than 2A plus heat sink
When encountering the problem that the output voltage cannot be adjusted and is always equal to the input voltage, please turn the potentiometer counterclockwise for more than 10 turns, and then use the module to adjust the voltage normally. Because this step-down module leaves the factory, the default output voltage is about 20V.
