The Grove - Laser PM2.5 Sensor (HM3301) is a next-generation laser-based dust detection sensor designed for continuous and real-time monitoring of airborne particulate matter. Utilizing laser light scattering technology and a fan-driven airflow system, it delivers highly stable, low-noise, and ultra-low power consumption performance, making it perfect for integration into air purifiers, air conditioners, air quality monitors, and a wide range of IoT environmental sensing projects.
Key Features
-
Real-Time Detection: Continuous and accurate monitoring of dust concentration.
-
High Sensitivity: Detects particles as small as 0.3 μm.
-
Stable and Consistent Output: Laser scattering technology ensures high reliability and accuracy.
-
Low Power Consumption: Ideal for portable and energy-efficient applications.
-
Grove I²C Interface: Plug-and-play connection for Arduino, Raspberry Pi, and other development platforms.
How It Works
Unlike traditional pumping dust sensors, the HM3301 uses a small fan to drive ambient air into the detection chamber. Particles are illuminated by a laser, and their scattering patterns are analyzed to determine the concentration of PM2.5, PM10, and total suspended particles (TSP).
