Livox LiDAR features non-repetitive scanning patterns which the areas scanned inside the FOV grow the longer the integration time, increasing the likelihood of objects and other details within the FOV being detected. The Mid-40 is equivalent to the 32-line product when the integration time is 0.1s. With an intergration time of 0.5s, the coverage performance is equivalent to the 64-line product. As integration time increases, the FOV coverage will approach 100%.
Long Range, High Precision
The Mid series features advanced optical design to reliably detect objects within a 260-meter range. The Mid-40 has a sample rate of 100,000 points per second and a random angular accuracy of less than 0.05°. The circular FOV of the Mid-40 is 38.4°, while the Mid-100—a combination of three Mid-40 sensors—has an expanded circular FOV of 98.4°.
