The Gravity: TCS3430 Tristimulus Color Sensor is a high-precision module designed for accurate ambient light sensing and true-color detection, using advanced CIE 1931 XYZ Tristimulus technology. This sensor plays a key role in True Tone displays, like those found in the Apple iPad Pro, iPhone, and Macs, which automatically adjust screen brightness and color balance based on ambient lighting.

Advanced Color Sensing with Human-Eye-Like Accuracy

Powered by TCS3430, this sensor integrates digital ambient light sensing (ALS) and XYZ color sensing, closely simulating the human eye’s spectral response. Based on the CIE 1931 color space, it allows for high-accuracy measurements of illuminance and color temperature, making it ideal for real-world color-sensitive applications.
