As pioneers in modular switch technology, our team at ELEKSMAKER took a bold step in 2021 by designing and releasing the market's first modular USB switch, the KG01. This innovative product featured six metal button switches controlling six USB power output channels. Its unique combination of an aluminum alloy structure and a black immersion gold circuit board presented a hard-core, mechanical appearance that was both understated and luxurious, setting the trend in the desk setup community.
However, our success was not without challenges. We witnessed competitors rushing to imitate our design, leading to a surge in counterfeit, pirated, and substandard products. These infringements not only hurt our brand but also affected our loyal customers. Despite these obstacles, we remained undaunted. While piracy is indeed despicable and we are actively fighting to protect our rights, our primary focus is on continuous innovation and staying ahead of our competitors by creating superior products.
In 2022, we launched the second generation of our modular switch, featuring dock support and added switch indicators. That same year, we introduced the third-generation product, the PRO MAX, which included eight switches and two PD fast-charging outputs.
By the end of 2022, we unveiled our revolutionary NK series with the new NK5 modular switch. This latest iteration came equipped with RGB indicator lights, customizable lighting colors, and an added screen for real-time display, marking another milestone in our journey of innovation and leadership in the tech industry.
