The Rd-04 is a motion sensing module designed based on the X-band radar chip XBR818, with a central frequency of 10.525 GHz. The module employs a fixed-frequency, directional transmission and reception antenna design (1T1R) and integrates functionalities such as intermediate frequency demodulation, signal amplification, and digital processing. It supports delay configuration and adjustable sensing range.
The Rd-04 features non-penetrating detection (does not sense through walls), excellent anti-interference capabilities, compact size, superior suppression of clutter and higher harmonics, as well as high stability and consistency. In pulse-powered mode, the module achieves ultra-low power consumption at the microampere level, making it ideal for cost-sensitive and low-power application scenarios.
