OP.180 is a unit of a 180° non-contact optical limit switch. It consists of infrared emitters and receivers on both sides. During normal operation, the emitter continuously emits infrared signals to the receiver. When an object passes through the middle and blocks the infrared signal, the output terminal generates an action signal, indicating the detection of the object passing by.
