Redragon M916 Pro 1K Wireless Gaming Mouse, 49g, Tri-Mode, Black
Lightweight gaming control, three ways to connect
The black Redragon M916 Pro 1K K1NG combines a nominal 49g body with Bluetooth, 2.4GHz wireless and USB-C wired operation. A Pixart PAW3395 sensor provides up to 26000 DPI, while the 1K version supports up to 1000Hz reporting. It is a compact-control alternative to a multi-button MMO mouse, with two thumb buttons and no decorative RGB backlighting.
Less mass to move, without a thumb keypad
The lightweight body suits players who frequently lift and reposition their mouse during broad aiming movements. Low mass does not automatically improve accuracy: pad friction, sensitivity, grip and practice still matter. The side buttons are on the left for right-thumb access; this is not a mirrored left-handed button layout.
Five programmable controls let you assign supported hotkeys, media functions or macros through the matching software. The two side buttons can handle actions such as forward/back navigation or in-game commands without adding a large thumb grid. Match each assignment to the application's accepted input and follow game rules for macros.
Select a connection for gaming or everyday work
| 2.4GHz wireless | Set the underside switch to 2.4G and connect the included USB receiver. Use this mode for cable-free gaming with adjustable reporting. |
|---|---|
| Bluetooth | Set the switch to BT and pair through the host's Bluetooth settings. No USB receiver is needed. Adjustable polling-rate settings are not available in this mode. |
| USB wired | Connect the supplied cable to the mouse's USB-C port and your computer. The manual describes automatic wired recognition and charging with the switch in any position. |
For Bluetooth pairing, hold the left mouse button and forward side button for three seconds, then select BT5.1 mouse on the host. The receiver can be stored underneath the mouse when travelling.
Tune pointer travel and reporting separately
The underside DPI button cycles through 1000, 2000, 4000, 8000 and 26000 DPI. Red, blue, green, purple and yellow status indications identify those presets. Software offers finer sensitivity adjustment from 50 to 26000 DPI. Lower values require more hand movement for a given cursor distance; choose a setting together with your game's sensitivity and available pad space.

Available report rates are 125, 250, 500 and 1000Hz. Hold the scroll-wheel button and forward side button to change the rate, or use the software outside Bluetooth mode. A 1000Hz rate corresponds to a 1ms report interval, not a guaranteed 1ms click-to-screen delay. This listing is the 1K model, not a 4K or 8K edition.
Recharge and resume
The built-in rechargeable battery eliminates routine disposable-battery replacement. A red flashing scroll-wheel indicator signals low charge; connect the supplied cable to a computer USB port. The manual estimates around four hours to recharge and advises against wall-plug charging. It enters sleep after about one minute of inactivity and wakes when moved or a button is pressed. Set the switch to OFF for long-term storage.

Use the correct software

Frequently asked questions
Can I use it without the USB receiver?
Yes, through Bluetooth on a compatible host or through the USB cable. Receiver-based 2.4GHz operation requires the included receiver.
Does Bluetooth provide the same adjustable 1000Hz setting?
No. The manual explicitly excludes Bluetooth mode from report-rate adjustment. Use USB or 2.4GHz when selecting the listed polling settings.
Is this an RGB mouse?
No. The colored DPI and battery indicators communicate status; they are not decorative RGB effects.
Can I configure macros on a Mac?
The model-specific configuration download is for Windows. Basic mouse connectivity and configuration-software support are different requirements; no native macOS macro editor is promised.
Is it the newer 30000-DPI M916 version?
No. This listing is the PAW3395-equipped Pro 1K with a 26000-DPI maximum. Similar M916 names do not mean identical sensors or receivers.
